Recovery from VIN3 local operation

I had a VIN 3 local wide operation approx 4 weeks ago. 

I'm passing a yellow/ brown discharge and still feel slightly soar in that area. I'm washing twice a day , using shower, and taking paracetamol.

My question is - is it normal to have this discharge and to still feel a bit soar in that area after operation? Even tho it's nearly 4 weeks ago?

    I had a WLE operation in 2022 for vulva cancer.  I was advised to use the shower head every time I used the loo, and to pat dry.  Lucky this worked for me.  I would check with your surgeon about this or your Macmillan nurses, I found that they was so helpful and had lots of tips to help.  When I came out of hospital after 4 days I stopped all pain killers and was fine.

    Please get this checked to be on the safe side.
