I have had EMPD. Was diagnosed 3 years ago. Treated with imiquimod and have been free of any recurrence for about 20 months. I have just updated my profile with more information.
Great to meet you. Congratulations on the effective treatment and great length of time clear. I have been debating using this cream. Where are you based sounds like your team is very switched on.
I live near Dundee so Ninewells is my local hospital. I read a lot of research when I first found out that I had Paget’s and I did feel that the consultants listened to what I wanted to try. They have been very encouraging. I hope you get the same support and treatment.
I am so sorry to hear this. I too was diagnosed approx 10 years ago. I have had 9 surgeries and it has been challenging. I am sending you lots of love and a big hug. Oh my goodness I’m still recovering from a vulvectomy with failed reconstructive flaps and it’s been mths. I can’t imagine 5. I’m sorry. How old are you if i may?
