Not been on for a while.
I was diagnosed in 2016 with stage 3 VC in the perineum area. Was caused by many years of undiagnosed lichen sclerosus.
I had 4 surgery’s and radiotherapy twice over 14 months and was doing ok in remission until unfortunately in May 2023 I needed a biopsy and came back as pre cancer dvin, so has my 5th surgery which also showed the cancer had returned. They got clear margins with cancer but not the dvin so now being closely monitored with 2/3 months check ups. So after nearly 7 years I find myself starting my remission again. Mentally it’s a lot harder 3rd time . Really do feel like a ticking time bomb now!
Im still raising awareness for both LS and VC.
