Yes or no
Any regrets either way
Hello Lils,
Welcome to the Online Community. I am sorry that you find yourself here, but hope that we can be of some support to you.
I hope you do not mind me responding as I actually had womb cancer last year but I saw your post had not yet had a reply. Hopefully by me doing so, someone will see it and be able to advise you.
It may be of help if you felt able to give a little more detail, either on your profile (if you click on my name you will see mine to give you an idea) or alternatively a little more about it on here. It might help for instance if other ladies knew whether you were having some surgery and what stage or grade you are. This might give them a better idea as to what to suggest.
We do have a Support Line that is available from 8am to 8pm everyday and you are welcome to give them a call if you feel it would help to talk this through.
We also have an Ask the Expert section where you could post in Ask a Nurse and they would be able to give you more advice. I will pop a link below in case you would like to consider it. They would normally respond within 3 working days.

I hope this helps a little and hopefully someone will see your post now and respond. In the meantime if there is anything else you need, please do ask.

Hello Lils, I had a vulvectomy and one lymph node removed from both groins, no regrets so far, 12 weeks since my operation.
all healed well, although one groin is still slightly swollen but nothing to concern me.
I wish you all the best.
Thanku so much for Ur response. My concern is ,my mother needs help and I can't be off my feet as such. I spoke to Adele from Macmillan and said there are organisations to help mum while I'm in hospital. So I'll def rethink my options and loads of positive views on this site as well as the sadder ones. Thanku again . I wish u all the best in Ur recovery x
