  • Hi Vicky,

Unfortunately I don’t have any advice as I don’t have any experience of radiotherapy or chemotherapy. I just wanted to say good luck and hopefully someone with experience will come along soon.

    Take care,

  • I have no experience of radiotherapy (am just starting my vulval cancer journey).  I do have a friend who had radiotherapy last year and I think she was told to just use water to wash.  Personally, I never use anything with chemicals in, I use organic natural products to wash my body and hair and organic pure coconut oil for moisturiser.  I reacted badly to moisturiser Consultant have me, probably because it had petroleum product in it.  Sorry I can't be of more help, maybe your cancer specialist nurse can recommend products.  Sandyx

  • Thank you yeah I've googled a few things got some baby shampoo as I won't lose my hair but might thin and a nurse said pineapple juice for the chemo for the metallic taste and I still use the shower wash I was giver pre oops as it doesn't sting on my scars from both ops x
