I had a MRI scan, it came back clear, so its not progressed into my body, its still outside. Ive been referred to preston hospital, and have a consultation in 1 week on monday. Ive been told ive a small margin of AIN3 as well as VIN3, im a bit worried of what to expect, will it be a operation in both ares?? How long will it take to recover?? Im really freaking out, my head is in a whirlwind. Any one got any good news about a similar issue?

Hi Blondie,
I had vulva cancer growing outside the body. I had a operation to remove it and some additional skin. Tumour was 2.8 cms, I washed every time I used the bathroom, used the hand held shower head and patted dry for 6 weeks. In myself I felt fine when I came out of hospital, I also stopped the pain killers when I got home. I made sure that I walked around the garden quite a few times a day to make sure I kept moving plus walking up and down my road. I was lucky as it was in summer 22 and the weather was very nice so could sit in the garden a lot of the time. Went for my check up 7 weeks after my operation but unfortunately because of the size of the tumour, they had thought it was only 1cm, I had to have another operation to remove lymph nodes. If you have any more questions please message me and I will try and help you from my experiences. All the best.
Good Luck for Monday. I was "lucky" because mine was cancer the op was being done within 3 weeks but I caught COVID so it was delayed by another 3 weeks. Let us know how it goes.
I hope you don’t have to wait too long for your operation. Let us know how it goes.
