Hi all, scared new member here.
I’ve been diagnosed with TNBC with an 8cm tumor. I have looked through lots of post and research and I haven’t found many other people to have this big, and for it to be cured. What is the likelihood that this is in my lymph nodes? I haven’t had them tested but was told the scans didn’t look enlarged. Would this make me stage 3 rather than stage 2. Sorry I’m confused by oncologist calmnes at stage 2 conflicting with the extent of the tumor.

Hello.
Mammogram for me was like 3.6 but clinically 6cm.
Had chemo which shrank to about 2cm but then grew.
42mm removed. No lymph’s involved.
Some people have been smaller and gone to lymph’s. Everyone is different.
Don't panic on size.
What will be, will be.
They told me they don’t do staging anymore and that’s more American.
Don’t get fixated.
Get fixated on treatment and what they can do… treatments have evolved for this!
Good luck xx
