Hi,
so I got diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 3 invasive ductal, triple negative breast cancer on Wednesday 1st October, went for a CT scan Thursday and MRI scan yesterday and today the hospital called to say the DR wants to see me on Monday. I’ve gone into total panic thinking they have seen something else on the scans. It’s all gone so quickly. Whilst I appreciate it going quickly my mind can’t keep up! I was told on Wednesday that it will be a week or so for scans then chemo at the end of October. So it’s frightened me. Any advice to calm me down please??
Hi CLK81
It is always a worry when they ask you to come in and its unexpected.
I had a different type of cancer to you but I was called in after the scans. It was just to plan the treatments and do the consents. If your chemo is likely to be at the end of October- then perhaps this is an appointment similar to mine where they check you over physically- bloods etc and go through when and how chemo will happen.
I wish you well with your treatment.
Jane
