Diagnosed with TNBc

I had 3 holidays booked & all have been successfully refunded. It's frustrating but you shouldn't be out of pocket. 

I've had my MRI scan and the tumour has shrank slightly so I have an operation date end of February for a lumpectomy

I am disappointed by how my peripheral-neuropathy has been addressed or not addressed as it stands. I feel I have to do my own research. I've now had a blood test and have low B12. I had to ask for that and physio. 

Did you get your specialist to complete forms to claim a refund? I didn’t want to bother mine so put forms in at my GP surgery and the reception staff have been really unhelpful. So I don’t know who to ask to sign the form to say I’m not fit to travel. 

Yeah now going to contact different people to see what I can get back! 

I haven’t contacted them yet but will let you know if I have any luck with it. My oncologists secretary is very helpful I wonder if you could contact yours and get them to get it completed? 

Glad to hear that the tumour has shrunk. Annoying about your lack of support for the neuropathy - have you got breast cancer nurses at all? They have been good getting back to me with queries about appointments along with the secretary. To be fair I am finding you need to push for things and explain your med history a few times to different people. I’m glad I did and they have got me an CT scan to see if it’s lurking elsewhere. Already had my surgical clip put in the wrong place as well which has to be redone on Friday - they are only human though!
