Hi I had my lumpectomy 2 days ago with 3 lymphnodes removed.
They have said 1 none looks suspicious.
I've had a feeling that the cancer has spread for a while now and feel I will be told this on my results day.
Has anyone else felt the same way?
Hi Darlene
I had a lumpectomy last April and a micro amount of cancer were found in one of my lymph nodes. I was advised to have both chemotherapy and radiotherapy and finished all my treatment last week
Edit - Just realised you'd asked if anyone felt that their cancer had spread. I was surprised that it was in one lymph node as I wasn't expecting it to have spread anywhere as I'd been told that it had been caught really early.

Hi Darlene
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with triple negative. Like you I had some cancer left in one of my lymph nodes. My oncologist put me on chemo tablets for six months to mop up any stray cancer cells the escaped. While I didn’t feel my cancer had spread I did know the minute I found my lump over two years ago that I had cancer.
Best of luck with your results.
Best wishes
