Hi...I was diagnosed 6 weeks ago started weekly chemo and immunotherapy, delayed this week as my levels were to low , hopefully back up.next week to continue, review in Jan to decide surgery and radiotherapy plan, overwhelmed with it all
It is easy to say but harder to do , take each week at a time if you look into the rest of your treatment it looms over you and that can be intimidating and out of your control. You can control this week though so eat healthish, exercise and talk to a friend. It is normal for counts to be down and miss a chemo session. So your medical team will tailor your treatment
Hi Lorraine Nic
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. It's not all that unusual for chemo to be delayed because your levels are low. Just take things a day at a time and while it might take a while things will get better.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas and don't be too hard on yourself.
Best wishes
