Hi there,
Im new to this chat forum although diagnosed with TNBC, grade 1 stage 3 in December 2020 and finished treatment this March. I had been having shooting pains in my right side (it was my right breast that had the tumor). Turns out I have cording, they done a CT scan and a bone scan.
They called me to say the bone scan is clear but they have seen a small shadow in my right lung. They think it's nothing to worry about but with my cancer history, they want to repeat a CT scan to see if there has been any changes.
Im worried, should I be? Has anyone had the same experience and what was the outcome?
Hi Louise010
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you had triple negative breast cancer. I didn't have the same experience as you but I thought that I'd reply to you as you haven't had any replies yet. I noticed that you are also a member of the breast cancer forum. If you haven't already put your questions in there why not do so as that's a much busier forum than this one.
It's understandable that you are worried about the shadow they have seen in your lung. Hopefully it will be nothing suspicious.
Wishing you the best of luck with your CT Scan when you have it.
Best wishes
