I had a ct scan in April and a lump was discovered in my arm pit. After mammograms and biopsy it was confirmed as cancer. I saw An oncologist last week and he said it’s a triple negative stage 3. I had another ct scan with contrast on Saturday but awaiting results. I start 24 weeks of chemotherapy on June 16th and I have every emotion possible going on at the moment but trying to keep positive. This is my 3rd Cancer to deal with since 2015. I also have Lynch Syndrome.
I came across this section by accident whilst scrolling through the MacMillan site. All very interesting

  • Hi sorry to hear your diagnosis,  I have TNBC grade 3, diagnosed in April, start 24 weeks of chemo on 14th June, the on line community  offers good information  and support  xx

  • Sorry you are joining us. I had WLE surgery in March and am currently in the middle of EC chemo with Paclitaxel to follow. Wishing you all the best.

  • I am at the start of the journey as well.  My EC will be every 2 weeks for 4 sessions and Paclitaxel every week for 12 weeks.  It does sound daunting but the support on line has been has been helpful
