Just diagnosed last week. A lot to take in. Will get lumpectomy at the end of the month but I’m not sure what the plan will be yet. And waiting for genetic test results
Hi I have just had my Lumpectomy this week. It is a lot to take in but I am sure you are in good hands. My op went well and does not hurt too much. Awaiting pathology report and plan after that. I hope all goes well with you!
That’s good to hear. My pathology report was as good as it could have been - clear margins, clear lymph nodes. Next step for me is to meet with the oncologist to decide whether the benefits of chemo outweigh the risks. I know I need radiotherapy.
