Hi I’m 2 weeks in- (3 weekly EC And weekly Paclitaxel and carboplatlin) and my heart rate is all over the place and just after treatment it was racing and I was breathlessl. I rang the helpline and was admitted to A&E. Been referred to a cardiologist but not heard anything but they still want me to have treatment Monday and I’m really worrying about it. Anyone been in the same position that can offer me any reassurance? Thank you xx

i had a problem with my heart rate in the middle of treatment and I was put on beta blockers which resolved the problem. They wouldn’t give you treatment if they thought there was anything to be concerned about but if you are still feeling concerned tomorrow ring your BCN and they should be able to reassure you.
