Hello there,
Can anyone offer any advice about surgery, I am due to see the surgeon next week, I have TNBC in the left breast only - phew! I am about to have my 3rd chemo this week EC and then onto Paxitaxel, today they have offered it over 2/3/12 weeks - I am going to take the every 2 weeks so it is over and done with quickly, then surgery will come.
My BRACCA gene was negative but looking for advice about before and after single mastectomy, whether to have silicone or other form of reconstruction, and any advice whether I should be considering having both done?
Thanks in advance
Hi Emma G
I’m sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. While I only had a lumpectomy I thought I’d reply to you as you haven’t had any replies yet and bump you up the discussion board I the hopes that somebody will be along shortly to answer your question. Also I suggest that you join the breast cancer group as it’s a busier group than this one and there are plenty of triple negative breast cancer patients on there.
Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery.
Best wishes
