Hi
I'd just like to intrude myself joined this group as was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer an so frightened of it coming back
Would.love to hear some of your journeys please
Hi , welcome to the community and so sorry you find yourself here.
I don't know much about triple negative bc but as your post was unanswered I thought I'd reply to you.
I think we all worry about it coming back but once treatment finishes and life carries in I find that you don't think about it so much. Once we're due a check up then I imagine the worry comes back again for a bit for all of us.
Hopefully someone with triple negative bc will see your post now that I have replied to it and share their experiences with you.
In case you didn't know you can click on people's profiles to read their stories. It would be good if you posted your story for others to read. I found it cathartic posting my story.
Sending hugs x
Hi
Thankyou so much for your reply wasn't really sure how this worked thought it was a group for people with triple negative breast cancer .once again thankyou for replying to me
Hi Shantle15
Sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.
I was diagnosed with triple negative last year and I had chemo, surgery and radiotherapy. I had very few side effects during treatment. Currently I’m in remission. If you click on my name you will find information on my journey. I’ve also written a blog on my journey called My triple negative negative cancer journey which you can read if you like. Sometimes I fear that it will return but I try not to thing about it too much. I try to keep myself busy so I don’t have to think about it too much.
Wishing you all the best for the future.
Best wishes

Hi , yes it is a group for triple negative breast cancer but as nobody had responded to you I wanted to. It also bumps you up to the top of the list where someone in the group might see it and respond.
Hope you are doing ok x

Hi
I suggest that you join the breast cancer group as well as it’s a much busier group than this. There are plenty of people diagnosed with TNBC in that group as well. Have you considered counselling to help you get back to some kind of normally? You can ring the Macmillan helpline and they can put you in touch with a counsellor. You get six free counselling sessions. Their phone number is 0808 808 00 00.xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
