My amazing sister who is 49 today was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer just under two months ago , she is awaiting chemotherapy she has been told it is incurable and doesn't know how long she has to live. She is in hospital at the moment she has nacrosis in the breast which she now has had to have it drained due to the hole being filled with fluid . You amazing ladies on her are so brave xxx
Hi Welcome to the community although I am so sorry you find yourself here.
I can't imagine how awful it must be for both you and your sister especially with her being so young. I would suggest talking to her doctors about her life expectancy although I think it can be hard to know. Some people live many years with incurable cancer so don't give up hope.
Here is a LINK that gives you a bit of information on treatable but not curable cancer.
You could also suggest your sister joins the 'living with incurable cancer forum' by using this LINK so she can get support from people in the same situation as her.
There is also a forum for family and friends LINK that you might benefit from.
Sending hugs and prayers to you both xx
