Glad to have found this group. I was diagnosed with a TNBC in 2017 and had chemo, lumpectomy and radiotherapy. I’ve recently had a TNBC recurrence in same breast (2 tumours) and have had a mastectomy. I am waiting to hear if I’ll need chemo. Lymph nodes were clear.  Could anyone who has had a recurrence tell me if they needed chemo again and, if so, which chemo they had and the regime. Thank you.

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I don't have the experience you're looking for but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Replying to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.

You might also like to join and post in the main breast cancer group as it's a more active group than this one and you will find people with TNBC there too. If this is something that you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you there.

It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi. Sorry this has come back. No answers to your question I am afraid as I am a newbie to all this. I would guess they treat it exactly how it is treated the first time but keep us posted. Sending love
