  • Hi Gosport Fighter. Welcome. My diagnosis was end of November last year and then had lumpectomy and sentinel biopsy in Jan. now on EC chemo for four weeks then Paclitaxel for another four, then radiotherapy.  This is a great group for tips as is the chemotherapy group once you get started to help with info on side effects and treatment.  We are in good hands keep each other boyed up!   Gwennie

  • Hi gosport fighter

i was diagnosed with TNBC in December and started off on chemo first in `January. I am on FEC for 4 cycles followed by Docetaxel. What is your chemo regimen. Can help you how to manage with side effects if I know which chemo is yours ?

I was diagnosed with TNBC in October 2019. I started chemo within 2 weeks - 4 x AC followed by 12 weekly sessions of Taxol and carboplatin.  It was not a nice process, but I expected worse to be honest. You need to plan to do very little and have lots of rest then you will be fine :-)

The hairloss was the worst part (I didn't do cold cap), and aches and pains in my joints. I had no sickness.

I had a mastectomy last April and this week on 1st APril I get an implant.

Here's wishing you lots of good vibes, think positive and take care.
