Hi all. I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer late Feb and start my chemo cycle 2 weeks ago. I had a picc line which was great to begin with, sadly ive developed a blood clot around the outside of the vein my line is in. Been put on blood thinners and stressing about being on them and the clot. Cant use my picc line at the moment so worrying about having to have chemo on side my cancer is. Worrying about money, paying bills and all that stuff. Im single mum after my husband passed away suddenly not quite 2 years ago, he was only 50. I have 3 kids, 2 adults who have flown the nest and a 12 yr old daughter at home. I have 3 beautiful grandkids but I'm so worried about them seeing me ill, especially the oldest one as he understands more. My thoughts are swirling non stop. Anyway I'm just rambling now.
We are all in this fight together. Let's kick butt. X
I am sorry you have so much going on at the moment. It must be hard when you are still grieving the loss of your husband. The chemo side of it will settle down into a known pattern that you will know how to work around. I recommend keeping a symptom diary so you can pick up the common patterns.

I was on the below and I found phase one wayyy easier than expected. Phase 2 is kicking my arse a bit at the moment but I'm speaking with my cancer care nurse regularly and ticking off the weeks as I go.
Phase 1 - you have these drugs over 12 weeks:
paclitaxel once a week
carboplatin either once a week or every 3 weeks
pembrolizumab once every 3 weeks.
Phase 2 - you have these drugs once every 3 weeks for 12 weeks:
epirubicin
cyclophosphamide
pembrolizumab
