Hi,
just diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.
I will start chemio in less than 2 weeks.
feeling tired but ok otherwise.
my family is great, but we are all a bit lost in the enormity of the situation.
Hi
sorry you find yourself here but everyone here is lovely with lots of help and support.
I've done 4 sessions of EC with minimal side effects other than my hair going. I've even got used to that. I'm about to do my 3 of 4 Paclitaxel. Again minimal side effects of achy bones and a horrible taste in my mouth. I'm very tired come the afternoons but throughout all this have continued working from home.
Next step is lumpectomy or mastectomy which I'll find out in a couple of weeks.
All in all it was the unknown that I found so worrying but everything has been manageable.
Ask anything you want as there's always someone to help.

Hi Raven1972,
thank you for replying to my message, I have not started yet but I am planning to cut my hair short the day before my first session.
I bought myself some nice head wear.
atm I am quite upbeat...hope it last.

Keeping positive really helps. I've had a couple of down days but I pick myself back up again.
My hair started to fall out at about day 12 after my 1st session so the other half shaved it off!
Take care x
