Hi everyone
I am on chemo tablets just going into cycle 4 if 6. I am on 10 tablets 500mg per day for 14 days then a week off.
I have some side effects that I am having difficulty with and wondered if any other person is on chemo tablets how they deal with their side effects they might have
I get dry mouth all the time even when I have a week off - have tried sugar free gum and sucking fruit sweets - nothing helps
Everything seems salty from water to tea etc.
Chemo brain - always angry and bad moods
Any suggestions that you have would be gratefully received
Thank you
Hi Kichy
I had TNBC but had chemo via an intravenous drip rather than in tablet form.
I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet so hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post it in the main breast cancer group.
I do hope these side effects become more manageable.
Thank you for your reply.
The chemo tablets are a prevention cycle, I had intravenous chemo for 6 month before my operation in April
Just wondered if anyone was on the same and experiencing the same side effects.
I will put a message in the main cancer group page.
Regards
