I had a helpful discussion with a MacMillan nurse this week who explained the difference between fatigue and tiredness. The former is a result of the chemo and keeping moving and exercising helps. This makes you tired when you go to bed. I hadn't appreciated the difference. So I keep doing a bit each day and choosing not to rest and do nothing.
Just wondering how everyone is getting on. I have completed my 4/4 cycles of EC and start 12 weekly treatments of Paclitaxel. I didn't expect such a challenging journey. How naïve can you be!!!!
The hot weather brings its own challenges as well.
Hi ricki
That's helpful to know.
I finished my treatment for triple negative breast cancer last October. I had chemo first and then Surgery after which I had 15 sessions of radiotherapy. I am now cancer free.
Wishing you the best of luck with the next phrase of your treatment.
Best wishes
