I guess I am clutching at straws now , but wondered if anyone else in this group was told their tumour has not responded to chemo and then gone on to be successfully treated . Since I was told this yesterday I have been all over the place . Sitting here planning to leave , wondering how long I have left . I don’t have all the answers until I see the consultant on Thursday but after all I have gone through to be told nothing has changed is crushing .
Thanks Dc6…..i think a vegetarian diet is definitely a way forward. I’m not at the mo, but I certainly don’t eat as much meat as I used to. Great you had such a good response to chemo in the end….you just don’t know what’s going on inside, do you?
Thanks again
Sorry yours didn’t respond either . How many rounds of pac/carbo did you have ? I have my appointment tomorrow and I need to be in control of the decision . Were you given the option to either bring the surgery forward after the lack of response from EC or sis they just go ahead with the other chemo ?
I am a little less traumatised by the results and lack of response than I was and talking to you and DC6 has helped a lot as I felt so alone with this so Thankyou .
do you have a date for your surgery ? Xz
Because it hadn’t got bigger after EC, they decided to crack on . I’m on no 10/12 tomorrow of Paclitaxol/carbo. Surgery next month. Wasn’t given the option of surgery any earlier
