Hi All, I'm coming to the end of 5 months of chemo, (3 rounds of AC followed by 12 cycles of Paclitaxel) I've got three more weeks to go, thank you-know-what! So I feel I can now begin to look at recovering from treatment. I've received various pieces of advice regarding promoting hair, eyelash and eyebrow regrowth. Someone mentioned Nioxin for hair and revitalash for brows and lashes. I've also been told that castor oil is good. I know of a product called M2 Beauté too but if anyone has had good results with any of these or with something else I'd be grateful to hear. I was a hairdresser and make-up artist for over 30 years but weirdly not dealt with anything like this before. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I can't help with your question but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By responding to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where hopefully someone with the experience you need will see it.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post this question in the main breast cancer group as it's far more active than this one and I'm sure you'll find people there who will be happy to share their experiences with you. If this is something that you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can join and post in the same way as you did here.

While you're waiting for replies it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
