Not sure where best to post this - general breast cancer, breast cancer under 50 or triple negative.
I finished active treatment in January this year, having had 23 lots of radiotherapy and 15 lots of chemo ending in November 2019. I know that bone pain is common when having Taxol chemo, but the last few weeks, I've had really bad bone pain in my hips/lower back and pelvis.
Oncologist told me back in February to go back to breast clinic if it persisted, so I'm now waiting for an appointment with them and possibly a scan to check things out.
Anyone else experienced this? - I've put some of it down to sitting at the kitchen table working instead of my proper work chair which has lumbar supports, and partly down to my body just suffering from wear and tear - but in the back of mind, I keep thinking - what if it's back?
Hi
I'm sorry to hear that you're getting really bad pain in your hips and lower back and it's natural to worry that this could mean that your cancer has returned.
The main breast cancer group is far busier than this one so it might be worth your while also posting there. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there if this is something you'd like to do.
I do hope that your cancer hasn't returned and want to wish you all the best with your scan.
