Dear all
I was wondering if anybody who has their cancer stopped during covid 19 has any contact with the hospital. I am lucky as I stopped my treatment due to the fact that my body could not take anymore and I have refused radiotheraphy treatment. I have not had any follow up plan discussion because of the covid 19 and the hospital has not been in contact. I would of thought the hospital would of been in contact with those patients who have their treatment suspended to see how they are.
Hi my treatment wasnt stopped but you should have a nurse you can contact.Have you tried to call the hospital where you had treatment? There is no excuse to not to have follow ups or discussions over the phone I have instead of face of face appt.a telephone appoitments.
So i just can advice try to call the hospital or the nurse you have the right to know whats going on.
Janet
give your breast care nurse a ring. I had an appointment with my consultant yesterday but it was rearranged for over the phone rather than at the hospital.
You're breast care nurse will make you an appointment if they think you need one or look to see whats happening next. They're brill at answering any questions you have.
