Hello, did anyone experience nosebleeds and muscle, bone pain whilst on taxol ? X

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear of the side effects you're experiencing while having taxol.

Could I suggest that you also join and post this question in the main breast cancer group as it's a lot busier than this group. If you'd like to do this then just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post your question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute it would be useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Just to say that I did have very bad side effects from Taxol to the extend that I stopped all treatment after cycle 4 of FEC-T. My fingernails are starting to fall out 2 and half months since I had my cycle 4. You will have to decide for yourself if you can tolerant the treatment to carry on. I stopped and it was the best decision as I had some help from above. All the best.

    Hi theresa

Yes I did experience some minor nosebleeds and other issues which were quite challenging at the time but I did manage to complete the twelve weeks.

    Good luck!
