Hi everyone, I was first diagnosed with TNBC last February. I had chemo followed by a mastectomy and radiotherapy. I had been on Capecitabine since January this year. I started experiencing pain so I had a CT scan Wednesday. Yesterday I was told my cancer has spread to several organs and is now incurable. I’m 32 years old. In have two children aged 6 and 2. I am absolutely devastated,

I will be starting more chemotherapy and immunotherapy within the next few weeks. Is there anyone else going through the same thing who can give me a (virtual) hand hold?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm very sorry to hear that you have recently discovered that your breast cancer has spread. However, it's great news that you're about to start treatment in the next few weeks.

I'm not surprised that you're feeling devastated and I can completely understand your need for a virtual hand hold. I noticed that you had joined the secondary breast cancer group and I'm sure if you post in that group you'll find others who understand what you're going through and who will be happy to support you. If you'd like to do that clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.

Wishing you all the best with your treatment
