Query liver/bone mets

Hi all,

just after a bit of advice, reassurance if anyone else has had the same? I’m exactly a year on since diagnosis and all active treatment finished in April this year. Since then I have had pain on my right side under ribs (not cancer side) always a dull ache and lately several times day I get a sharp pain that doubles me over! I am also so tired all time, more fatigued than before with a lot more headaches. Recently started with back pain and pain in my left hip so uncomfortable to sleep. On Codeine for pain relief.

I have had some blood tests which have highlighted possible problem with liver/bones, seen oncologist yesterday referred me urgent CT and bone scans. I’m petrified they have found it has spread!!

Sorry you're having such a worrying time, i can't imagine how you must be feeling but it must be really scary. I can't really help you much but have you thought of posting this in The Breast Cancer Group where there are more people who may be able to help you out.

I know its hard not to worry but remember nothing has been diagnosed as a certainty yet. As we all know with this poopiness they like to know what they are dealing with, you say your oncologist said possible problems, but that doesn't necessarily make it cancer. Try to keep positive until you know what you're dealing with. This rubbish takes away too much of our happiness don't let it take yours if it doesn't need to.

Hello Crafty cat, I read your message while searching for postings about liver mets. I notice that you've posted recently and would be grateful if you could tell me the outcome of your possible liver pains as I'm experiencing the same. Best wishes.
