My wife was diagnosed with TNBC in April 23 undertook 6 months of chemo before a lumpectomy and three lymph nodes being removed .
After first op was told chemo hadn't worked , a further operation was undertaken followed by 19 radiotherapy appointments and a further 6 months of oral chemo this finished in September.
Yesterday she found a new lump in the collar bone area and she is waiting on a urgent oncology appointment absolutely devastated is it the original cancer or a new one .as chemotherapy didn't work what can they do
Hi Kev61
Sorry to hear that your wife was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and that her chemo didn't work. While I'm not a expert the lump in the collar bone area could be a swollen lymph node.
Wishing your wife the best of luck with her appointment and hopefully it will be nothing serious.
Best wishes
