Hi lovely people,
I am wondering if anyone has had a recurrence on the same breast. I had TNBC on my left breast 3 years ago. I had just booked a table for my husband and me to celebrate 3 years clear from surgery when I found a large lump on the cleavage side of my breast. I have an appointment with the consultant on the 27th. I am trying to convince myself it is everything but cancer but failing badly.
Hi Ardmhor
Sorry to hear that you found a lump and that you think your cancer might be back. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in my left breast just over four years ago. Then just two years later I had a local recurrence in the same breast. Luckily the tumour was small, and I had it removed and I am currently cancer free..
Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment and hopefully it's not back.
Best wishes

Hello Daisy,
I was diagnosed with tnbc in February 2023, and I just found out it came back. I'm still waiting for the exams results, but the MRI definitely shows a tumor in the same breast.
Can I ask you what treatments did you follow the second time?
Thank you!
I hope you are both doing well
