  • Hi Coddfish, so grateful to have found this forum. I finished chemo in May, I had carboplatin, paxtotaxel, Pembro then on EC. I had my op on June and now having radiotherapy but have had a cough since before surgery. Ive had two lots of antibiotics which haven’t really done anything. I’ve had a CT scan and referred to a respiratory dr who now wants me to have a camera, biopsy and flush before possibly given steriods. I’ve had a bit of dhiahrrea but assumed it’s because my head is all over the place and my eating goes a bit nuts! Did you have the camera etc??

  • Hi Timewatcher. Can I ask you if you had to have a camera down the throat/biopsy/ flush? I’ve had my chemo and surgery with good results but had a cough I can’t shift so before giving steroids they want to carry out this camera test?

  • Hi I did have several procedures to diagnose my colitis. One was a tiny pill camera I swallowed. Then a few months later I had a combined endoscopy/colonoscopy but neither were to do with my lungs, sorry.

  • No worries, thank you for taking the time to answer x

  • No, I haven’t had a camera down my throat. Fortunately, despite having lots of complications, throat issues haven’t been part of it. I did have a CT-angiogram which detected the lung damage from immunotherapy. I also don’t get diarrhoea, but I do get loads of wind and discomfort. Hope they can solve it for you.

  • Thank you. I will just let them do what they have to do and go from there xx
