I’m worried as diagnosed in December TNBC with lobular cancer.surgery in March, lumpectomy and sentinel biopsy. Got caught with Easter delay on results, not good news, now grade 3 tumour had grown to 28mm plus now need full lymph clearance and lower quadrant margin required. Surgery date now 17 May. What happens if this continued junior doctors strike, my surgeon lost two operating lists last week. Plus the results take 4 weeks plus. I was lucky first op went ahead during first strike action. Feel for everyone waiting for surgery with fingers crossed and those waiting for the bloody results
Hi Millsey
I was diagnosed with TNBC this time last year and no what a worrying time it can be. I was having my chemotherapy during the nurses' strike but, thankfully, my NHS trust hadn't voted to go on strike so I didn't have that hanging over me.
I'll keep everything crossed that your surgery goes ahead as planned next month.
Take care x
