I wonder if anyone can advise on average waiting time between surgery and Chemo starting? I had surgery 7 weeks ago and was told that I will need Chemo but is there an optimal time for getting Chemo started to be effective?
Thanks all

Hi. I had breast cancer 6 years ago and what I can remember is I had my op then had to wait about 5 to 6 weeks to heal. Then my chemo started. I had 6 lots. With a couple of weeks break in between. Then after that I had to go get measured up fir 5 weeks of radiotherapy daily. Where thst put little tattoo markings on to see where the laser hits. Here if you want to ask me anything else xxx
Hi Togo, thanks for the info and I'm hopeful that I hear something this next week for an Oncology appointment. The waiting is always the hardest!
