Hi everyone, I had a total thyroidectomy last December. Diagnosed with 9.5mm left side of thyroid and 5mm on right side papillary carcinoma cancer. I know very small, thankfully. However, I've just realised I've critical illness insurance. I have to prove malignancy and invasion. They don't pay out for pre malignant, non invasive, cancer in situ, low or border line malignancy. My policy is with L&G. Thanks for your time.

That's fantastic news. Really chuffed. Hopefully I'll hear something soon. Mine has been going on since November now 
All OK here. Just getting over laryngitis which doesn't help.
