Hi there, my husband has/had a 6cm follicular thyroid cancer - pt3a - it was a large lump and has been classified as ‘minimally invasive’, but had not progressed to invading nearby tissues. Has anyone successfully claimed on critical illness cover for this scenario? There are lots of other threads in here about this topic but having read them all, I can’t ascertain if insurers have paid out specifically for ‘invasive’ tumours that have not yet invaded nearby tissue. Trying to get ahead of the insurer as they assess the claim! Thank you, wishing everyone speedy recoveries x
