Papillary Thyroid Cancer, Full Thyroidectomy in March (is getting a tattoo fine?)

Hi, I am new here.

I just got my diagnosis and I feel like getting a tattoo would keep me sane, it may be silly but it does Slight smile

So the question is: is it okay to get a small tattoo on my arm possibly few weeks before the operation and then having RAI after?

    Definitely go for it! I promised myself a tattoo for my 30 40 and 50th and still haven't done it!! so if you go first I will!!! xx

    Omg you have to do it now! Have you got any ideas what you're thinking to have tattooed?

    *I'm just worried that the tattoo right now might be affected somehow by the treatments, and felt silly calling my nurse about it!

Help us do whatever it takes, because we’ve never been needed more.
