Hi there! I’m still feeling good nearly 4 weeks post TT and neck dissection and off to Spain in 2 weeks time! I was wondering how long my voice would be hoarse and weak? My voice tires easily and I still can’t speak in a louder voice. All in all, pleased with recuperation until RAI on 11/5. Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

  • It's a classic case of time heals.  4 weeks post TT, I was getting really fed up that my husband seemed to develop selective deafness, the cats were ignoring me, and my colleagues thought I sounded 'funny'. 

    It's just a case of waiting and healing.  For most people, so long as there was no damage during surgery (and you'd likely know if that had been the case), things should go back to 'normal'.
