Hi
I have been referred to a surgeon as I have a 4cm x 6cm lump on my thyroid I'm so worried it's cancer
Hi Kyekye and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.
It's perfectly natural to worry that the lump you've found is cancerous but lots of lumps turn out not to be. When is your appointment with the surgeon? Is this to discuss whether the lump needs to be removed or for an operation to remove it?
While you're waiting to see the surgeon try to occupy yourself doing things that you enjoy if you can. That way you'll spend less time worrying about the 'what ifs'.
