Hi
I am probably going to start Lenvatinib treatment soon. I just wondered if anyone else has had experience of taking it. I know there are many possible side-effects and would be interested to know how people have got on with them
Thanks
I don't have personal experience but I know several people who have been through this.
The side effects can be rough but the most important thing is to tell your medical team every time you get them. Don't hold back. They will alter doses, put you on a break, monitor everything really carefully. I've heard a lot about sore feet and some people struggle to keep their blood pressure in range. But this drug is the best weapon in the armoury for those who have to take it, so please don't let worrying about side-effects put you off giving it a go.
Best wishes
Barbara

Hi I hope you are keeping well I have also got to go onto Lenvatinib after the iodine treatment did not work and has simulated the cancer to spread to various parts of my body. I am also concerned about the side effects of the treatment and wondered how you coped with them
Thanks
