Lymph nodes

Hi, sorry to hear that, from what I understand lymph nodes can show 'unusual' or reactive but it doesn't always mean anything 'sinister' I hope on further investigation this is the case for you.

I had TT and left side dissection (removal of 30 lymph nodes) in December 2019 and then in June this year they found another lymph node that on biopsy was confirmed cancerous (I noticed a swollen lymph node, which didn't turn out to be affected). I've just had a second stronger dose of RAI (mid September) and waiting for my follow up appointments to see where things are.

It's really not an easy or straight forward journey for us with Thyroid cancer but wishing you all the best and sending positive vibes.

Hi, sarah_83, sorry to hear your troubles, just wanted to say, chin up, try to keep positive. I think we maybe in a similar situation at the moment. I haven't done my profile yet but I am having investigations done again similar to you. Take care.

Hope the RAI has worked for you. What dose did you have?

I had 100mci in June I have a follow up scan in January to see if it has worked.
