Hello!
I’m nearly three years on from my thyroid removal, and have been on levo since.
I had my six month check six weeks ago, and the consultant called to say my levels were off and I was hyperthyroidic and they were going to lower my meds.
In the last few days, I have really started to feel horrid. Hot flushes, ridiculous sweating, twitching eye, unable to sleep. I feel like I have a constant current running through me - but at the same time, feel pretty fatigued and weak.
I’m reluctant to tell my consultant - only because he’s changed my meds and I don’t think he can actually do anything about it. But I’m just looking for some reassurance that it won’t last forever...
going to tag Lass the thyroid whisperer in to see what she thinks.
thank you
Hey Happygal,
I am 2.5 years post Total thyroidectomy and have recently had test results back showing I’m Hypothyroid so opposite to you! With meds changing I think it throws everything a bit off and I’ve not been feeling 100% recently. Hope they settle and you feel better!
