Hi I just wondered if anyone with active thyroid cancer received a shielding letter at the start of the pandemic?
Hi
I'm just 'bumping' your post as I noticed you hadn't had a reply yet.

No I didn’t get one.
I thought I would be at higher risk of catching Covid19 as I had quite a lot of lymph nodes removed, it didn’t make any difference. My husband had a bad case of Covid 19, thankfully didn’t end up in hospital but in bed very ill for 12 days. I didn’t catch it despite being in contact with him daily.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
