Hi Myabee
Glad you’re back home, ready to start getting over this.
With regards to further treatment, we’re the “lucky” ones who don’t need to get RAI.
Hopefully apart from regular (6 monthly) bloods and taking your thyroxin, life should get back to normal. Mine has.
Being retired I’ve been able to rest when I needed and have no real demands made on me or my time. You have children, so maybe you’ll need to listen to your body and make sure you don’t overtax it too soon.
Take care of your scar, do protect it from the sun. Being summer, you might just forget!
When you see your consultant you can double check what your future is going to look like
Take care and look after yourself
