Good evening to everyone. I am new here. I had a neck disection in January and am expecting to have my Thyroid removed later this month. I joined here to see if I can learn more about what's happening to me. I have also been told to expect Iodine radiotherapy.
Hey there
Welcome to the forum, though I'm sorry you need to be here!
I think, rather than innundating you with information, what would be better is if you could maybe think of the things you'd like to know or questions you have that you'd like answered. There's a lot of facts and figures surrounding thyroids, that telling you everything would just be too much.
Also, just an FYI, the RAI isn't usually referred to as radiotherapy, as radiotherapy as a treatment is very different. So it's RAI in the shorthand or Radioactive Iodine in long.
I look forward to hearing your questions, and I hope you're keeping well.
Lass
xx
