Hi, just wanted to have a wee moan,
I have my ultrasound next week to check the other half of my thyroid and I’m being as positive as I can about it in the hope that all will be fine.
Just returned from seeing a consultant in ophthalmology this morning, eye movement and pain in right eye is worse. Was hoping to be told it was just autoimmune thyroid related, which she says it could be, but my eyes were dancing all over the place during the routine tests. She says that there is definitely something going on. More bloods done to check for more autoimmune diseases? But now also been sent for an MRI to check muscles that control the eye and also to check the part of the brain that controls eye movements. As I say nothing to do with my Thyroid Cancer, but aaaaah, what next!!! I don’t know how Lass does it, with all she’s had going on. I’m pretty fed up( polite version of how I am feeling)
Okay moan over
Once you've had cancer, it's easy to get into the mindset of expecting everything to be bad news but I have absolutely no idea what this might be. The good thing is that the docs are throwing all their technology at trying to figure it out so fingers crossed that you get some answers soon.
Best wishes
Barbara

Good luck for tomorrow Mrs! Hopefully the MRI will show something that can be easily and quickly fixed for you!
So that's 3 of us with appointments for things tomorrow now! Lol.
Do you have an appointment to get the results back yet? Or is it a 'wait for a letter' job?
Lass

I have no medical training, everything I post is an opinion or educated guess. It is not medical advice.
Thanks Lass, I do have an appointment, MRI and consultant appointments both arrived 2 days after I saw her, very efficient. It’s the 5th of Dec. So not long to wait, I suppose after the whole thyroid cancer wait for everything, this is very speedy xx
