Here is my story so far, 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, two months later had an ultrasound and two nodules have been found. 12 months later follow up ultrasound one of the nodules is increased in size by 2 mm so went for biopsy in April and the nodule was classed as thy3a. Referred to ent surgeon he suggested another biopsy came back as the3f. Had a partial thyroidectomy on 24th September, follow up in 4 weeks. No follow up appointment just yet but just received a survey letter from the hospital how was my cancer treatment??? Phoned the secretary unable to give me results and no appointments available for next two weeks, quite upset over the whole situation.
Hi and a warm welcome to the online community
I totally understand why you're upset having received a letter from your hospital asking you about your cancer treatment if cancer hadn't been mentioned previously.
It's perfectly normal for secretaries not to be allowed to give out results over the phone but this doesn't help your anxiety levels.
By responding to your post it will 'bump' it back to the top of the first page in this group where others may see it and be able to support you further.
