Hi All,
I had a regular blood test last week and my TSH has gone from 1.1 to 2.5 with no change of thyroxine dosage. This did strike me as a bit weird and maybe just a rouge test result but I just wondered whether anyone else has had any similar experiences and if so what did you do?
Many thanks
Neil
Heya Neil,
It does fluctuate as we use our T4, convert to T3, then top up our meds again. I'm not entirely sure of a normal range of fluctuation however I'm afraid.
However, if you have a look through some of the recent discussions, then you'll find a few of us have had increases in our TSH recently. So the standard questions to ask first are:
If nothing is different, then I'd wait and see what happens at your next test. Maybe have your GP run a TFT in 3 months to see what's happening. Then take it from there.

I have no medical training, everything I post is an opinion or educated guess. It is not medical advice.
Thanks for your reply Lass. The strange thing is that none of those things you listed have happened.
I've had a good chat with the GP and we decided to increase my dosage a little from 175 daily to 175/200 every other day and do another test in 3 months to see where we are.
